Network Engineer (Mid-Level)

Our client is looking for a dynamic and technically savvy Network Engineer with excellent opportunities in Georgia.
Position Location: (Brunswick, GA)
Duration: Long Term
Status: US Citizens
Security Clearance: Must be able to obtain a USG Secret security clearance.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Include, but are not limited to, technical responsibility for design, implementation and management of network services, configuration, troubleshooting and maintenance in support of a mid-size to large LAN/WAN enterprise environment. Will provide operational support as well as project driven tasking from Sr. Architect and Project Managers.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in network support, configuration and troubleshooting network hardware and software products, to include routers, switches, wireless and network security. Familiar with network diagramming tools and network monitoring tools. The ideal candidate must also possess strong technical skills, along with the ability to write to technical documentation. Excellent organizational, inter-personal and customer support skills mandatory. Possess the ability to work in a constantly changing and fast paced environment. Knowledge of network security tools and techniques is highly desirable.
Competitive Edge Qualifications
- Cisco certification CCNA R&S and CCNA Security, extensive prior direct experience, current USG security clearance. Demonstrated outstanding customer support, interpersonal skills and excellent oral and written communication skills through awards and special recognition.
- Associate’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology with minimum 3 years direct experience or technical certification (CCNA, CCNP, CCSP) and minimum of 1 year direct experience. A combination of education, training, certification and/or experience that provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities may be substituted for the requirements listed.
